Origin Story
Hi, my name is Jennifer. I moved to this area in the summer of 2000 with no family, no support system, and nowhere to go. I lived in a tent out on 32 Road and got my first job at the Pufferbelly Station. On my days off, I volunteered at the local soup kitchen (Catholic Outreach), working alongside Angela. That experience gave me a sense of purpose and connection when I needed it most.
Eventually, I had the opportunity to run a small business of my own (Pandora’s Piercing). After 20 years of hard work, I purchased a building and property for that business — a milestone I was incredibly proud of. But not long after, I learned that the building would need to be demolished. Rebuilding wasn't financially possible at the time.
Rather than see this as a loss, I chose to see it as a new beginning — a chance to give back to the same community that had supported me in my hardest times.
That's how Four Leaf Clover Inc. was born — a nonprofit community garden built on gratitude, resilience, and hope. This space exists to nourish our community, share fresh food with the local soup kitchen (Catholic Outreach), and create a place where people can come together, grow, and thrive.
